The Fat Duck at Lavender House

Lavender House by Bray Cottages has often provided a luxurious stay for our guests who wanted to keep the magic going. And that inspired us to create the The Fat Duck at Lavender House experience.

The restaurant's chefs will design a bespoke menu complemented by a wine flight selected by our Head Sommelier for your group. They will personally serve you and your guests alongside our Storytellers to create an intimate The Fat Duck experience like no other.

Wake the next morning to a hamper filled with everything you need for a delicious gourmet breakfast. Lavender House has a beautifully landscaped garden and a cinema room to while away the time. We can also arrange for you to explore another side of Heston's cuisine and eat at his Michelin-starred pub, The Hind's Head.

And, for those looking to explore beyond Bray and Hestonland, we can arrange excursions such as a private boat trip on the Thames.

We aim to make your stay at Lavender House as relaxed, easy and memorable as possible, so we have a 3:00pm check-in and an 11:00am check-out so you can make the most of your time in this special little corner of the Berkshire countryside. We also have a large car park if you are travelling by car or we can assist in reserving transportation from Maidenhead Station for those travelling by train.

Bray Cottages also offers a selection of smaller cottages within a (very) short stroll of The Fat Duck that are perfect for couples dining in the restaurant looking to rest their weary heads after The Journey of a lifetime.
